About Me

 

My name is Jade, I'm a 3D Artist with a passion for bringing ideas into the physical world. I am most interested in character modeling, as I think characters are the lens through which we are able to appreciate good storytelling. I also love hard surface modeling, particularly sci-fi, as it presents the unique challenge of having to figure out how all of the different mechanical components of a piece of machinery fit together in a way that maximizes both function and aesthetic. Anything that requires research for the sake of accuracy to a given time period, culture, or place is also enjoyable to me. The idea that on any given day I might get to briefly step into the shoes of a paleontologist, a marine biologist, or an engineer, is what keeps art an ever fascinating pursuit to me.
